Top o’ the mornin’ to ya, Parents, Guardians and Teens! Calvary Kids is excited to announce our upcoming Vacation Bible School presented by Answers in Genesis. Journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life, first as a shepherd and later as a king, we’ll discover important truths such as:
- I can be a child of God and have the Lord as my shepherd.
- I need the Lord to lead me on the right path through his Word.
- I can turn to the Lord for comfort when I’m feeling anxious or afraid.
- I can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation.
- I need to be on the lookout for God’s goodness and mercy, my traveling companions through life.
We need Ewe to make it all happen!
If you've been attending Calvary Knoxville for at least 6 months, there are many fun ways to volunteer!
All Ages 12+ (12 year olds must serve alongside with a parent):
All Ages 12+ (12 year olds must serve alongside with a parent):
- Station Helper in Missions, Crafts, Snacks, or Games (helps station leaders any way they can-set up, clean up, interacting with kids as they travel through stations)
- Troupe Assistant (assists troupe leader with up to 15 kids, interacts with kids at stations)
- Pre-K Nursery Helper (arrives early to receive kids, must already be trained and serve in Calvary Kids)
- Prep Volunteer (helps organize and prep all materials needed for VBS, may or may not be available during VBS)
Ages 18+ only:
- Troupe Leader (leads group of up to 15 kids, actively engage with kids throughout the week)
- Special Needs Troupe helper (one-on-one help for our special kids)
- Check-in Volunteer
- Welcome/Parking
- Floating Helper (helps where needed)
